Privacy policy

Effective September 17, 2026. This policy describes the personal lcc installation and its use of connected Google accounts.

Information accessed

With authorization, lcc reads Gmail message content, headers, labels, and account identifiers, and Google Calendar names and event details. It also stores information from connected coursework platforms and the owner's notes.

Use and processing

Messages and events are stored on the owner's self-hosted server to support search, summaries, tasks, reminders, bills, and recruiting follow-ups. Selected message text and other relevant records are sent to Anthropic's API for classification and summaries. Relevant summaries and reminders may be delivered to the owner through Telegram. The server hosting provider, Anthropic, Google, and Telegram process data as needed to provide these services under their own policies.

lcc does not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Google Calendar writes are limited by the application to a dedicated LCC calendar in the owner's personal account; the other account is read-only. Gmail access is read-only.

Storage and access

Records are retained in the server database until the owner removes them. OAuth credentials are stored separately from application code. Dashboard and bot access is restricted to the configured owner. Server administrators can access stored records; backups may retain copies.

Control and deletion

The owner can revoke Google access through Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not delete previously stored data. The owner can remove imported records, credentials, and backups from the server, or ask the installation administrator to do so.

Questions

This is a personal installation administered by its sole owner. Privacy questions and deletion requests should be directed to that administrator.
